Sligo and the Wild Atlantic Coast

Sligo and the Wild Atlantic Coast

Monday 16th July to Thursday 19th July

This is a four day tour to Sligo and the beautiful West Coast of Ireland.

While in Sligo we will visit Lissadell House and Gardens recently reopened to the public by its owners, Edward Walsh and his Wife Constance Cassidy.

This surely must be one of Ireland’s most remarkable houses. This house is the former home of Countess Markievicz under the gaze of lovely Ben Bulben and Sligo Bay.

This is the area that inspired WB Yeats to write some of his finest poetry. We will visit Glencar Waterfall standing 50ft high, a wonderful sight even if you have seen it before.

We will also visit Mullaghmore with its breath-taking views of majestic sea cliffs and Classiebawn Castle. We will also visit Enniskillen and take a boat trip on lovely Lough Erne on board the 56 seat MV Kestrel which has a licenced Bar and Coffee Dock.

Part of our tour on the MV Kestrel will take us to the world famous Devenish Island and Monastic Site.We will be staying at the 4 star Sligo Park Hotel.

A tour not to be missed!
