Saturday 12th August Day trip to The Garden of Ireland Wicklow

eThis is a day trip to beautiful Co Wicklow known as “The Garden of Ireland” Wicklow boasts some of the finest scenery in Ireland.

Mountain views, lakes and some stately houses from our distant past.

The first verse of the song “My lovely Wicklow” penned by John Candy of Candy Tours perhaps sums up the story of Wicklow

“There are thirty two counties in Ireland each with its own claim to fame,

but there’s one that stands out from all of the rest,

if you listen I’ll tell you its name

It’s the beautiful County of Wicklow, with its lakes and its valleys so grand

So I’m sure you’ll agree there’s no place to compare, to the garden of all Ireland”
